The Independent Student wants:
– Dedicated smoking balconies;
– Dedicated smoking terraces at each University building;
If a student wants to enter a university building, they are forced to walk through a thick curtain of smoke. This is both unpleasant and unhealthy.
At the same time, it is impossible for smokers to find a place to smoke, since the university clamped down so heavily on smokers.
Instead of the unhealthy current situation, The Independent Student wants dedicated smoking balconies. The university should provide balconies or terraces where smokers can smoke, and non-smokers do not have to face the clouds of tobacco.
