4.4 For less plastic waste
The Independent Student wants:
– University laboratories and medical facilities to replace single-use plastics with sustainable solutions;
– Only sustainable goodies and necessary information in university goodiebags for potential students;
– All trashcans to seperate waste;
The University wastes too much plastic. The consumption of single-use plastics can be drastically reduced with smart solutions for laboratories and medical facilities, to reduce the environmental footprint of our university. The Independent Student wants sustainability as a part of every public tender.
Goodiebags are fun. However, mostly these bags and their content end up unused. The Independent Student wants to reduce waste only allowing sustainable goodies and necessary information in the goodiebags of the university.
