9.1 For accessible facilities
The Independent Student will:
– Advocate for all university buildings to be accessible for people with disabilities;
– Make sure the perspective of people with disabilities is taken into account when discussing new facilities;
– Hearing loops in lecture halls and seminar rooms;
Facilities of the university should be accessible for everyone. It is unacceptable for the buildings of student organizations not being accessible for people with disabilities. The Independent Student wants all buildings to be fully acceptable.
The perspective of people with disabilities is important when developing new facilities and policies. The Independent Student wants perspectives of all students to be taken into account.
